Sealing profiles, sealing cords and edge protecting profiles
Flexible edge protection profiles defuse or cover unprocessed edges, save subsequent processing and reworking of sheet metal parts and serve as protection on components. In addition, they often provide a desired decorative effect. Flexible sealing profiles are used to seal and insulate various components, such as doors or housing covers.
We have an extensive range of sealing and edge protection profiles with and without embedded clamping tape in our standard range for your various areas of application. Other cross-sections or designs can be produced on request, subject to minimum production quantities.
Flexible edge protection sealing profiles are often manufactured in various materials and material combinations such as hard/soft materials, as well as in combination with cellular materials.
Materials: EPDM/EPDM sponge rubber, silicone/silicone foam, PVC/EPDM sponge rubber, NBR/NBR sponge rubber
Clamp strap
Due to the embedded metal or wire clamping strip, the profiles are self-clamping so that the use of adhesives or mechanical fasteners is not necessary. The steel or wire clamping strips used are normal steel, untreated. Deliveries with stainless steel or stainless steel wire clamping band are available on request with corresponding minimum quantities.
